Every cause starts with someone who cares. This year, we're putting a twist on our giving tradition: we know our Seedtag community is deeply committed to causes that matter to them, and we want to get to know them — so we can come together as one team.
Any Seedtagger can become an ambassador for a cause. Our community decides which one we support together, and in October we turn it into a donation.
Nominate the cause that matters to you through the submission form. One nomination per person, per edition.
A Compliance committee checks that every nomination meets the requirements. It's an eligibility filter, not a judgment of the cause.
The whole company votes anonymously during Voting Week. One person, one vote.
In October, Giving Month: a communication and donation campaign to support the winning cause.
A yearly cycle, designed to leave room to nominate, review, vote, give, and share the impact we've made.
Employees submit their initiatives.
The committee checks that requirements are met.
The whole company votes, for one week.
The winning cause (or Top 3) is announced.
Donation campaign and communications.
We share the results and impact achieved.
Before you submit, make sure the organization and the nomination meet these essential points.
As a global community spanning many countries, cultures and perspectives, our aim is to support causes that bring people together around shared values and create a positive social impact.
To keep Seedtag Gives inclusive and welcoming for everyone, nominated organizations should primarily focus on humanitarian, health-related, social, educational or environmental causes.
As a general principle, organizations whose primary purpose is to:
will not be eligible for this program.
These principles are not intended to judge the value, legitimacy or importance of any individual belief, ideology or organization. Their purpose is simply to help ensure that Seedtag Gives remains a shared and inclusive initiative where employees across all countries, cultures and backgrounds can participate with confidence and feel equally represented.
Since Seedtag is global, our default proposal is to open the program to any non-profit worldwide, as long as it has a donation platform able to receive international contributions — avoiding local causes that can only accept domestic transfers.
This criterion is still pending final validation by People/Legal.
One nomination per person, per edition. Public fields are shown to everyone once your proposal is approved — unless you choose to submit anonymously.
One person, one vote.
